CDR extractor

Overview:

Some domestic flight plans have optional CDR (Coded Departure Routes). This page allows you to paste the CDR section of the flight plan and will then add links to open in iFlightPlanner.com, ForeFlight, as well as copy the text without the "." and ".." so that you can paste the route into Jepp FD pro as well as other websites.

Note that iFlightPlanner.com has a great tool for viewing all of the CDR's for an airport pair at link. However, the flight plan has additional information such as fuel burn and time.

  1. Copy the whole CDR section.
  2. Paste the text into the box below.
  3. Click the button.

This analysis is done within the browser using JavaScript. Nothing travels over the internet. The code is quick and messy, but you can view it by opening this file in Notepad or some other text editor.
